Collecting Sports Memorabilia: Dr. Nicholas DePace from the DePace Sports Museum

The DePace Sports Museum in Washington Township contains some of the most treasured sports artifacts in sports history. Dr. Nicholas L. DePace, founder of the museum, will be speaking about how his passion for collecting baseball cards evolved into the DePace Sports Museum.

From Dr. DePace:

My fondest childhood memories revolve around assembling sets of baseball cards with my grandfather and father.  The countless hours we spent sitting together at the dining-room table and sorting these cards in binders provided a way for our three generations to bond.  From those cherished moments, I developed a passion for the hobby of collecting sports memorabilia.  Ultimately, our collection of baseball cards evolved into acquiring the various historical sports artifacts currently displayed in the DePace Sports Museum.
