We are very happy to welcome back local poet, Faleeha Hassan for an evening of poetry readings at the Margaret E Heggan Free Public Library! This is surely an event you won’t want to miss!

Faleeha Hassan is a poet, teacher, editor, writer, and playwright born in Najaf, Iraq. She received her master's degree in Arabic literature, and just recently published her 26th book, “A Goat in a Tequila Cup,” in October of 2024. Her poems have been translated into over 20 languages.  

This program is open to all adult card holders; priority registration will be given to Heggan card holders.
